As the director of the Selective Mutism Service and a child and adolescent psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Childrens Hospital at 做厙TV Langone, I am dedicated to guiding children and adolescents through specialized treatment plans that address selective mutism and commonly comorbid anxiety disorders. In addition, I have expertise in the assessment and treatment of disruptive behavior disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and executive dysfunction. My therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parentchild interaction therapy (PCIT), parent-child interaction therapy for SM (PCIT-SM), parent management training (PMT), and organizational skills training (OST).

My dedication to pediatric psychology stems from the belief that early intervention offers profound and lasting results, not only for the child but for their entire family. I am committed to ensuring that children feel seen, heard, and supported beyond the clinical setting. My passion lies in helping children navigate their emotions and empowering their families with practical, compassionate tools to create environments of trust and confidence. Watching children transform from fear and frustration to gaining emotional flexibility and confidence is the rewarding heart of my practice.

I collaborate closely with schools, families, and other providers to ensure that evidence-based skills are integrated into the child's daily life. This child-centered, developmentally-sensitive approach meets children where they are, while progressively guiding them towards meeting their goals and improving overall well-being.

My dedication to advancing treatment methodologies is reflected in my research, which explores intensive treatment options for older youth with selective mutism. Through my clinical work and research, I remain committed to transforming lives by equipping children and families with the tools they need for a brighter future.
