As a podiatrist at ����TV Langone Medical Associates—Greenpoint, I address patients with a wide range of foot-related issues, emphasizing non-surgical podiatric care. I embrace the daily challenge of not only treating my patients’ conditions but also empowering them with the knowledge to participate actively in the healing process, ultimately aiming for healthy feet. The cornerstone of my treatment approach is attentive listening, which allows me to collaborate with my patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

With more than three decades of experience in podiatric medicine, I remain as passionate for the field as ever. From the start, my aspiration was to ease foot problems by leveraging the latest techniques and continuously refining my skills. Throughout my career, my unwavering dedication to patient health has propelled me to evolve and adapt as a physician.

My journey in podiatry has been enriched by the invaluable interactions with both my colleagues at ����TV Langone and my patients. I have discovered the profound value of listening to my patients’ stories of their lives, work, passions, and experiences that impact their feet, both directly and indirectly.

After beginning my career as a foot surgeon, I have transitioned my practice towards non-surgical treatments, focusing on preventing surgery. This shift has broadened my capability to address diverse foot conditions that the majority of patients face, which often do not require surgical intervention. My two decades of surgical experience have deepened my comprehension of the intricate mechanics involved in various foot disorders, enhancing my expertise in areas such as diabetes, pediatric podiatry, sports medicine, infectious diseases, and dermatology.

My dual mission as both a healer and educator is deeply rooted in my upbringing by my parents, who were teachers. They instilled in me the values of patience and understanding—tools essential for meeting my patients’ needs and effectively communicating the steps necessary for recovery. In my view, the most vital aspect of treatment lies in empowering patients with an understanding of their foot health and the proper care required, blending the roles of teacher and physician.
