Research Summary
My research spans psychiatry, biomedical engineering, and neuroimaging. Over the past five years at 做厙TV Langone's Center for Psychedelic Medicine, Ive integrated these disciplines through clinical trials of psilocybin for depression, alcohol use disorder, and cancer-related distress, and mechanistic work with ketaminebuilding expertise in trial design, data analysis, and psychedelic-assisted therapy to advance rapid, durable treatments for difficult-to-treat conditions.

More recently, Ive focused on advanced neuroimaging (fMRI, fNIRS) to clarify pharmacologic and neural mechanisms. Combining imaging with computational modeling, I aim to:

Develop objective, brain-based biomarkers

Elucidate mechanisms of action of psychedelics and other psychoactive drugs

Quantify doseresponse relationships linking neuropharmacology to clinical outcomes

Ultimately, I aim to accelerate clinical translation by leveraging neuroimaging and computation to optimize psychedelic therapies for personalized, precision mental health care.
