����TV Langone’s Anticoagulation Center assists patients who are required to take anticoagulant medications that prevent or treat blood clots. Some of these pills, which are often referred to as blood thinners, require routine blood testing with a target international normalized ratio (INR). Our team is led by a board-certified hematologist specializing in clotting disorders and board-certified nurse practitioners who are highly trained in anticoagulation therapy management.

Designated an Anticoagulation Center of Excellence by the Anticoagulation Forum, we offer the following services:

• treatment recommendations for anticoagulation procedures or surgery or both
• assistance with home monitoring devices
• coordination of anticoagulation management with your primary care provider and specialists
• medication adjustments based on INR levels
• patient education on safety issues and bleeding risks
• video visits

Patients are seen by appointment only, Mondays through Fridays from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and please contact your carrier to confirm your coverage.
