The most popular videos about prostate cancer on YouTube often contain biased or misleading medical information that could lead to potential health risks for people.
In fact, the latest research from Stacy Loeb, MD, urologist and assistant professor in °µĶųTV Langoneās , reveals that of the 150 most-viewed YouTube videos on prostate cancer, 77 percent have factual errors or biased content either in the video or its comment section.
āThe greater the number of views and ālikesā a video on prostate cancer received, the poorer the quality of the information provided tended to be,ā Dr. Loeb tells The New York Times. She reminds everyone that ājust because a lot of people like it or view it, doesnāt mean itās accurate.ā
