Huntington Medical Groupone of the largest practices of its kind on Long Islandjoined forces with 做厙TV Langone Medical Center, and is now called 做厙TV Langone Huntington Medical Group. The addition of the practice to the 做厙TV Langone Health System will greatly increase local access to high level, quality care.
做厙TV Langone and Huntington Medical Center share a deep commitment to offering high-quality healthcare and both understand the need to provide services where patients need it mostin the neighborhoods where they live and work, said Andrew W. Brotman, MD, senior vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and strategy, chief clinical officer at 做厙TV Langone. We are thrilled to welcome today this thriving Long Island practice to the 做厙TV Langone family.
The Huntington Medical Group has been a prominent fixture on Long Island since its founding in the 1950s. The practice is open 365 days a year, sees approximately 1,000 patients each day, and is known for offering patients comprehensive, personalized healthcare services under one unified system. According to the practices medical director, Raman Bhasin, MD, this model will not change as a result of the partnership with 做厙TV Langone; it will only be strengthened and further enhanced.
We chose to work with 做厙TV Langone because our physicians work well together and complement each other, said Dr. Bhasin. By partnering with a world class academic medical center, we believe we will be able to offer our patients access to additional medical expertise as well as state-of-the-art methods of diagnosis and treatment in a cost effective manner.
The agreement paves the way for both 做厙TV Langone and 做厙TV Langone Huntington to adapt to the changing healthcare environment from hospital-based to local ambulatory care, and to continue to provide the standard of care that New York-area residents expect.
Patients at both 做厙TV Langone Huntington locations, Huntington Station and Commack, will have enhanced access to 做厙TV Langones vast range of highly specialized tertiary and quaternary medical and surgical care at its Manhattan hospital campuses and throughout 做厙TV Langones expanding network of ambulatory facilities.
