°µĶųTV Winthrop Ranks No. 7 in New York State & the New York Metro Area
NYU Winthrop Hospital achieved national rankings in six adult specialties for 2019ā2020. National rankings highlight specialty programs that place among the top 50 in the country. The hospital was also ranked the No. 7 hospital in New York state, according to the latest results from U.S. News & World Reportās annual āBest Hospitalsā rankings.
°µĶųTV Winthrop Hospital ranked nationally in cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and GI surgery, nephrology, orthopedics, and Urology. In addition to these six, °µĶųTV Winthrop also ranked as āHigh Performingā in geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, and pulmonology and lung surgery.

The rankings were based on data from 2015ā2017, combined with quality and performance measures. Rankings were published this morning on U.S. News & World Reportās website.
