Recovery & Support for Vaginal Birth After Cesarean

Whether you’ve had a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) or a repeat cesarean delivery, your °µÍøTV Langone obstetrician can counsel you about future delivery options. The doctor can explain if you might be a good candidate for VBAC in the future and what you can do to increase the odds of having a successful vaginal delivery. This may include waiting at least 18 months before becoming pregnant again.

They also provide information about what to expect during a cesarean delivery.

New mothers can join a weekly group to discuss infant care, breastfeeding, getting around New York City with a newborn, and more.

Maternal Wellbeing

For women who experience mood changes during or after their pregnancies, experts at °µÍøTV Langone’s Reproductive Psychiatry Program can evaluate symptoms and offer ongoing support.
