As a Provisional Level 2 Adult Trauma Center within the Emergency Department at ����TV Langone Hospital—Suffolk, we are open 24 hours a day. Our doctors demonstrate a commitment to care by maintaining the highest standards required by the American College of Surgeons.

Our Team-Based Approach

Our highly skilled team includes emergency medicine physicians, board-certified critical care trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists.

Together, we provide rapid, coordinated care to people who have experienced motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, falls, injuries due to violence, and other traumatic events.

A Continuum of Care

The continuum of care for people with severe, potentially life- or limb-threatening injuries begins with our in-house care providers and specialists and concludes with a thorough assessment of patient needs and discharge planning. At each level, we provide the highest quality of care through evidenced-based best practices, ensuring that patients and their families are active participants.

We are also supported by a strong affiliation with the Level 1 Trauma Center at ����TV Langone Hospital—Long Island.
